Shaped Up Sunday Afternoon

Finally! Something neat to show off!
One of our first assignments in my Intro to Digital Art class was to recreate a famous painting in Illustrator using nothing but shapes. Here's my work on the painting "Sunday Afternoon"

While everyone used small squares and rectangles to recreate their painting, I used big blocks of color to recreate this painting. My teacher liked it, although I'm thinking about going back in and redoing it.
The difference with redoing it is that I'll use the pen tool instead of the shapes tool. I think it'd come out better if I used the pen tool. Pretty neat though, isn't it?
