I was pretty hyped for Toy Story 3 when it was first announced.
Not sure exactly how I feel about Toy Story 4.
Its story sounds interesting, but the third one ended perfectly. I'm not a big fan of Hollywood's interests of rebooting/sequeling everything, but Pixar does a good job with their movies. Heck, not even Pixar escaped the dreaded sequel bug however.
Although I must say that I'm kinda excited for Cars 3.
***edit: I saw Cars 3 not too long ago, and it was really great! I'd say it's the true "Cars 2" sequel! Don't get me wrong, I liked Cars 2, but Cars 3 was waaay better! I recommend giving it a watch!
Oh look! It's my birthday today! I reached the beer-chuggin' age of 21!
I did a quick little drawing for today! Wooooo, the ol' 21!
The biggest addition to the line-up this time around are actual shoe designs for each character! What I didn't expect was that the addition of shoes actually added a bit more personality to each character's design!
On top of that, Mandy's design and colors were changed a bit for consistency.
Currently, I'm working on doing the same shoes addition to the Class of 2422 character line-up. Look out for that update soon!
One thing I like about Jennifer is that she tends to fall in love with any good-looking guy she meets. Too bad she's kind of an awkward person to do anything about it.
Again, this character animation test also includes a bit of secondary animation for me to practice on, which is the stack of papers flying out everywhere. I think it came out looking alright. Another added layer of challenge that I tried to place on myself was that I tried to animate on 1's as much as I can, which is more apparent in the second half.
Looking at it again, I just realized I forgot to include Jenny's freckles on her face. How can I miss such a small detail?
I'm pretty satisfied overall with the final product! I'll try and start another character animation thing soon since it's so accomplishing to see a character finally animated.
