20th Century Study - The 1960s

The 1960s! A time of the Beatles, peace, love, and hippies, man! Groovy!
The men of this decade made sense with having long hair; I'd fit right in in the 60s!

On the last page, I decided to have a bit of fun and drew John Lennon from the Beatles and a young Steve Jobs. I posted both the Lennon and Jobs doodle separately on my own account on Twitter and Instagram and they received a decent amount of likes!

20th Century Study - The 1950s

Ahh, the 50s! Such a nice, welcoming decade for a lot of Americans! Even for those who've never lived in this decade seem to really enjoy the look and feel! I know I do!

I realized this too late, but I completely forgot to do the men of this decade! Nooo!
I'll go back to the men of this decade another time. Let's keep moving forward!

20th Century Study - The 1940s

Ahh, the 1940s! Times were tough when the world was busy with World War 2.

I went a little extra with the men here by adding faces. I'm really digging the drawings I've done here with the women.

20th Century Study - The 1930s

Now we're heading into the lowest point in America's history: the Great Depression.

Pretty decent set here so far.

20th Century Study - The 1920s

Next up, we're heading into the world of speakeasies and flapper girls!

The men in this decade didn't really show any difference in this decade, so they were skipped for now. This is my favorite set of sketches for now!

20th Century Study - The 1910s

Sorry about that small hiatus on the blog! It slipped my mind! Here's the 20th century study!

I bet you're probably thinking "Hey, why didn't you start with the years between the 1900s-1910s instead? Why start from the 1910s?" Good question!

...anyways, here's the first batch.

So as you've noticed, I'll have a few pages dedicated to men's fashion of that decade followed by the women's fashion of that decade as well! Sorry if it's a pretty tall post to scroll through, but it's easier to click on an image and scroll in that gallery type of mode!

Next up, we'll be soaring through the Roaring 20s! Stay tuned!
