Last one!
Funny enough, this comic is making its first appearance here! I was planning to post the picture-taken black-and-white image version of this comic long long time ago, but decided against it. Here it is!
Hopefully, the next web comic series I create isn't a rehash of things.

Austin & Jennifer Reboot!
Welp, I've finally gone back and reworked everything on this series.
As I've mentioned several times before, when I created Austin & Jennifer I was totally hyped at the time about finally launching some sort of web comic of my own. So excited that the characters were created in a rush with no development so I ended up with these static characters with no life in them. Because of that, I became very uninterested in my own series and discontinued it altogether.
HOWEVER! I've recently regained an interest in the series! As you've seen already, I've created a neat logo to go along with its revival:
Since I'm planning some sort of reboot, I went back to the drawing board and completely redesigned the main two characters from the ground up! Take a look!
The sporty brother and artistic sister have undergone a massive makeover in both design and character, so now they have more depth in character than ever before. I'm still working on them both, but we're definitely way way way ahead than it was when I canned this project. I mean just look at the new look they have! Way better than before by a million!
I currently do want to bring back the web series, however I'm still unsure whether to continue where it left off or start all over again (both of these options will still keep it as an episodic series.) These are the first two options I have.
The third option, however, sees the series coming back, but instead of being episodic it will tell just one singular story. I'm currently working on this singular story just to see whether I want to fully commit to this option or not.
Whichever option I go with, I'll still have the original comic strips of the series online.
That's all I have for now!
Also, I finally formatted all the comic strips on the Austin & Jennifer comic page here on the blog into a horizontal state! Check 'em out! If I ever decide to delete these old comics from my Tapastic page, they'll always be on this page to revisit!

A Girl and her Cow
Here's a quick little doodle of farm girl Nelly with her childhood pet cow, Abigail. Her pet cow's been with Nelly through thick and thin throughout her life; they truly made a great duo!
Also, today just so happens to be National Love Your Pet Day! Perfect day to post this!

Propinquity Line-Up Tweak/New Character
Changes include small revisions for Daisy and an adjustment for Mandy, and other small details for other characters:
Also, there's a new character! Here we have the new guy Dakota. He's a quiet, reserved kind of guy that likes to spend his time reading books. His design might change since he's very new, and I'm currently trying to make him fit naturally with the series.
His personally and role is being explored right now, so I won't say much until I feel he feels well rooted with everything. At this point, I don't think there will be any major changes to these characters (with the exception of any small tweaks to color/design), so I think it's safe to say that this line-up finalized for sure! Game set match!
...hopefully.

Possible Comeback?
I thought I'd never return back to this particular series.
I told myself I abandoned it because it was a lost cause.
But recently, I got bored and decided to revisit this old series.
And hot damn.
It's coming out really great this time around!
More details coming soon!

Social Media Mock-Up: Basepage
After doing as much as I can with the characters, now I think I can go ahead and really focus on the world building aspect side of things. For starters, I'm working what social media sites my characters will use in their world.
The first site I've gone after is Facebook. In their world, it's called "Basepage" because having your own page on the internet that's all about you and circle and interests is basically like your own little "base" online, just for you. I've created what this site's home page would look like:
Afterwards, I'll be doing one based on Twitter and both of their mobile versions of the site.
