Project Danielle
Remember that one post I made not too long ago where I discussed about some character revisions I was working on, and that I had a lot of trouble coming up with a satisfying new look for Danielle? Y'know, this post?
Welp, I said I'll return to that subject when I finally have a good design and I finally ended up with five good designs to play around with! And of course, as you may see along with the five working designs, I humorously called this task "Project Danielle."
I kid you not, I thought this whole redesigning process for this one character would have been done long ago.
The first picture show her current attire look along with two new styles and the second image is the next three new styles.

Drawing at an Arboretum
My Saturday art class went on a field trip to a nearby arboretum and I decided to share the drawings I've done over here on my tumblr.
Check 'em.

Playing with Photoshop
Maybe you've noticed this, maybe you haven't, maybe I've said this before, but whenever I create some sort of drawing digitally, I use Adobe Flash to draw it because I'm every used to it by now.
However, I've recently started thinking about using Photoshop for drawing and other drawing-related thingies.
I created this little drawing while I was messing around with the program.
I know it's not super fantastic, but it's not as fantastic as this:
If you have or haven't noticed, I've started to implement this as my new profile picture across my social media accounts, such as YouTube and tumblr.
I figured it's about time to update the current general profile picture for a better looking one, and this one fits the bill!
Isn't it amazing? I especially love the super hippie-like color-splashed background!

Overdosing on Music
So do know those kinds of images on the Internet that has some sort of quote that's suppose to be "inspirational," usually being accompanied by some background picture of space or the countryside. Sounds pretty specific, right? Kind of like this completely stupid thing I made.
Anyways, I saw this image the other day:

I know it doesn't exactly match the description I described above, but something like this fits in what those pictures try to convey. So I saw this image and I thought "That's kind of dumb, of course you can. That's having a song stuck in your head" and then I drew this:
At the time I drew this, I had "Shake It Off" stuck in my head. Thanks Taylor Swift.
As of now, however, I have "Uptown Funk" dancing in my head.

Attire and Appearance Revisions
You remember when I introduced Chris, Jake, and Danielle, right?
You have no excuse now.
Okay, so as you may know (or not), I'm developing a series with these three as the main characters. This series has been through about four years of development, and still going. For the longest time, the three main characters have have a basic appearance and I've been very stubborn to give them any change in appearance or in their attire these past few years. Especially in their attire, which really doesn't give any reflections of their personalities, so for the past few days, I went and did just that.

Character Doodles
In my character design class, we use a program called "Sketchbook Pro" and it's a pretty great drawing program; it's the first time I've ever felt comfortable with drawing digitally, but that's probably because we're using huge touch screen monitors which I definitely need.
Whenever our teacher goes and critiques our projects, that gives me the free time to draw whatever in the program and that's what I'd like to share. They're mainly a mix of drawings of my characters and randomly constructed characters.
Here's the first page I'll post for now.
